2026 IOMSN NIGHTINGALE AWARDS USA
This award will be given to 10 eligible candidates. Each will receive funding up to $5,000 for:
- New or current projects, related to MS nursing, that require ongoing support and/or additional funding for the growth of the program (i.e. self-help groups, wellness classes, educational programs).
- Proposed time-limited projects in the field related to MS nursing.
- Activities that support the professional growth and development of an MS Nursing professional, focused on advancing MS clinical practice, leadership, or program development, and not intended for tuition, degree programs, testing fees or individual course enrollment.
- Nursing research in MS and/or a related field.

Must be an MS Nursing Professionals or Physician Assistants (PA):
- with nursing experience either in MS or a related field
- members in good standing with IOMSN
- MS certified nurses/specialists (MSCN and/or MSCS) will be given priority consideration (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
- practicing in the United States
- not currently employed by a pharmaceutical company
Deadline of submission:
September 30, 2026
Nightingale Awards recipients will submit a progress report to the IOMSN in October 2027.
