CLASSIFIED-SEEKING EMPLOYMENT
 Name  HEATHER LAUGHLAND, ANP-BC
More Information  Click here to access her CV
 Location  New Jersey
 Posted Date  January 7, 2013
 Closing Date  OPEN

I am a recent graduate of Thomas Jefferson University, with an advanced degree as an Adult Nurse Practitioner. I am board certified by the ANCC, and licensed in PA as an adult NP, with a license pending in NJ. I have over a decade of experience in the field of Neurology, with 12 years of research and clinical experience in Parkinson's Disease, and 2 years of nursing experience in multiple sclerosis, headache/migraine and chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuritis (CIDP). I am interested in finding employment in the South/Central NJ area, or in Philadelphia or Bucks County, PA. In the time I was fortunate to work with the MS population, I became very passionate and interested in the disease, and treatment options. My graduate Capstone paper reflected this continued interest. My nursing training as a patient advocate, coupled with my research background and understanding of disease pathophysiology, make me uniquely qualified to work with patients affected by neurologic disability. My experiences, however, are not limited to neurology. I worked 2 years in intensive care units, within cardiac, pulmonary, and surgical domains. Clinical experience as a graduate NP student included primary care, pre-admission testing, and oncology. If there are any positions available in the NJ/PA area, please consider my qualifications and enthusiasm for learning and working.
