The 2025 CMSC Annual Meeting was an exciting and inspiring time for the IOMSN community. This year, we embraced the theme of The Phoenix—a powerful symbol of strength, resilience, and perseverance in nursing.
The Nursing Roundtable was well attended. A heartfelt tribute to June Halper was delivered by Colleen Harris, honoring her lasting legacy. We also shared findings from the 2024 Nursing Survey in our “You Spoke, We Listened” report, outlining impactful initiatives launched by the Nursing Taskforce in response.
Rachael Stacom and Dr. Francois Bethoux introduced IOMSN’s upcoming publishing initiative, an exciting new opportunity for nurses to contribute to the literature and share their knowledge. Supporting activities and resources will roll out throughout the year to help nurses participate in this meaningful endeavor. Stay tuned for more on this!!!
Our IOMSN Reception was a vibrant celebration, featuring the 2025 Nightingale Awards (International and US Recipients). It was a full house as we recognized 21 outstanding MS nurses from around the world. Their bold, innovative ideas are already taking shape, and we look forward to the impact they will have on MS care.
Finally, the IOMSN Board of Directors and staff extend heartfelt congratulations to our Annual IOMSN Awards Recipients, our incoming Board members and this year’s Nightingale Awards Recipients.
